The parties
Workspace Map Base (“we”, “the practice”) provides bounded studies of workspace collaboration behaviour: observation, review of consented app exports, interviews, written briefings, and facilitated sessions. You are the organisation or person who commissions that work. These pages describe professional services, not software licences.
Acceptance
A study begins only when we send a quote letter and you confirm in writing (email is enough) and pay the deposit named in that letter. Website copy, rates pages, and conversations before the letter are informational. If these terms and a quote letter differ, the letter prevails for that engagement.
Scope and changes
The letter names the team or floor, the study type, observation days, exports expected, briefing language, and fee. Additional floors, extra days, or a second written language are new scope. We may refuse work that requires reading private messages, installing monitoring software, or producing material for a disciplinary file.
Your responsibilities
You introduce us honestly to the floor, obtain whatever internal permission you need for observation and exports, and do not ask us to hide the purpose of the visit. You prepare exports without message bodies unless a letter expressly says otherwise — and our standard letters never do. You keep a named sponsor available for intake and debrief.
Intellectual property
You keep your calendars, room logs, channel lists, and internal documents. We keep our method notes, templates, and unused observation remarks. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the written briefing and any working-agreement page inside your organisation, including leadership meetings. You may not resell the briefing, publish it as if it were your own research, or use our name to endorse a product we did not review. We may describe the work in anonymised form (industry and city, not your trading name) unless the letter forbids even that.
Confidentiality
We treat floor notes, exports, and interviews as confidential. We do not place them in public marketing. Aggregated remarks on the Notes page are used only with permission or after stripping identifiers.
Liability
Briefings are professional opinion based on agreed days and exports. They are not legal, financial, or occupational-safety advice, and they are not a guarantee of later attendance, meeting load, or morale. Our liability for a study is limited to the fee paid for that study, except where Malaysian law does not allow a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). We are not liable for lost profit, lost data in systems we do not control, or decisions you take after reading a briefing.
Web site
This site is informational. Forms send an enquiry; they do not create an engagement. We do not process payments here. Content may change without notice. Links to other sites are not endorsements.
Governing law
These terms and any engagement with Workspace Map Base are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia, including those sitting in Johor, have jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
